York County is located in the Atlantic Coast's "urban crescent" on the beautiful
Virginia peninsula. Situated midway between Richmond and Virginia Beach, the
county's 56,297 residents help comprise the nation's 27th largest metropolitan

Hampton Roads community, York County citizens have at their fingertips a wide
variety of personal, professional and leisure opportunities.
